God is so good to us!

Dear Tun Dr. Mahathir,

"I am not seeking sympathy from anyone. But it is a little bit too much to expect me to forget and forgive something that is happening now as a result of Anwar's plottings."

The above clause of Tun's blog is referred.

I can understand that you do not need sympathy because you are still a strong willed man as usual. However, no matter how strong you are, you might still feel that you are in lack of something deep in your heart. You have a lot of worries - you are worry about Anwar's plottings and you are worry about Linggam case that is deemed to be a plot to humiliate you. Am I right?

In order for you to get rid of your anxieties, I hope you will be willing to show an opening heart to accept the compassion from others who care about your eternal life.

The complexity of human's problems can usually be narrowed down to a focus point of the origin - that is, all human's problems begin with a broken relationship with God. We broke off our relationship with God since the fallenness of Adams and Eve in the Garden of Eden; we turned far away from God since our ancestors began to disobey God.

All men are sinners. If we insist that we have never sinned against another person, it is highly possible that we could have sinned against God. God requires all His believers to have faith in Him and to surrender all the believers' problems and anxieties to Him. Indeed, God wants us to think of Him, and only Him, as our great saviour all the time and never for a minute forget Him. Just ask yourself Tun, "Have you ever done a soul searching for a few minutes and thought of the question on whether you have forgotten God for too long and deny God the chance of unloading your burden unto Him?" If you find that sometimes you were so busy with your busyness, then this is a good proof that you have already sinned against God because you have failed, even though it is just a failure for a few minutes, to put God first as the Top Priority in your life.

If you admit that you are a sinner, then there will be good reason for you to seek God for forgiveness. If you don't want to seek forgiveness from other people because you believe that you have not sinned against anybody except God, then you should pray and ask God to forgive you of your past wrong. All your anxieties will be removed by God sooner or later so long as you have strong faith in God. Our God is a god full of mercy and loving-kindness. God will forgive you and deliver you from the darkness in life so long as you can continue and persevere to seek the face of God.

As for all legal cases pending against you, I will uphold you in prayer and ask God to intercede in the legal dispute so that you can be set free from being enslaved by the satanic attack with anxiety. I don't mean that God does not require us to take the responsibility of what we have done wrong in the past. But I do believe that with the forgiveness of God, all burdens that are to lay down upon us will be much easier for us to carry for the rest of our life in this World. With the forgiveness of God, we are also better assured that we will be able to live out an eternal life since God is going to forgive our past sins. With the forgiveness of God, we will be delivered by God for us to reach the eternity someday in the future! Therefore, do put all trust in God and be ready to confess all your sins to God in your prayer and to show a true repentance.

To believe in God, one must always be ready to surrender oneself to God and to thank God for His mercy and forgiveness of one's sins and to love God by praising God of His wonderful mercy and grace. Are you ready to praise God from now on, Tun?

If Tun is ready to forgive Anwar no matter how Anwar has wronged Tun, I believe God will also forgive all your sins if you truly repent of your past sinful acts in enjoying passing poisonous remark on your enemies!

God is so good to us and sometimes we just need to get a bit closer to Him in order to realize how much God loves us and cares about us. May God bless you, Tun!
